Here are some frequently asked questions, some not so frequent but questions all the same! If you can think of anymore please feel free to contact me.

How many weddings have I photographed? I have photographed over 200 weddings, on my way to 300.
Am I insured? Yes, I have public liability and professional indemnity insurance in place.
Do I cover weddings outside Cheshire, Manchester and Merseyside? Yes I do, but locations further afield may include an extra charge for travel and possibly overnight stays.
Do I just photograph weddings? Currently, my work is predominately wedding photography. In the past and to some extent, the present, I have photographed gigs, corporate events, school events, people ( portraits ) etc.
Do I wear a suit and/or a cravat? Quick answer is no! Not my style, I’m knocking it but it really isn’t me.
How long before you receive your photos? Your gallery is usually ready for you within 4 to 6 weeks after your wedding date. Your images will be in high resolution jpeg format, RAW files are not provided.
Do I use flash or natural light? I use a combination of available light, on and off camera flash.
What equipment do I use? I use Nikon dslr full frame camera bodies coupled with Nikon and Sigma Art lenses.
Do you have to feed me? No, I usually bring my own food with me so there is no pressure to provide me with a meal.
Do I provide pre wedding consultations and pre wedding photo shoots? Yes, I provide both. Meetings are held in person or by video call, whatever suits you. Pre wedding shoots are offered but they do depend on location and time scale. All of this will be discussed at the point of enquiry.
Do I provide a contract? Yes, of course I do.

Decide on the wedding photography option that is suitable for your requirements. We will discuss your plans together with you and agree on the ideal wedding photography package for you including any additional extras you may want.
Pay the deposit to secure your booking. Deposits are non-refundable and will be deducted from the final balance which is due 1 month before your wedding date. For full terms and conditions please visit T’s&C’s
A contract will be drawn up and emailed to you for your approval.
We will arrange an initial consultation or video call with you.
Arrangements will be made for further pre wedding consultations and pre and / or post wedding photography sessions ( if applicable to your booking ).
You can continue planning your wedding day knowing that you have just booked your wedding photographer.

The pre wedding consultations and photography sessions are important because they give the photographer a chance to get to know you and your partner better and understand what kind of photos you’re looking for. It also gives you an opportunity to discuss any special requests you might have and to make sure that your expectations are clear.

From Black Country Grit to Cheshire Charm: Meet Your Wedding Photographer!

Ever wondered who’s behind the lens, wielding the magic that captures your precious moments? Well, hold onto your hats, because I’m about to take you on a whirlwind tour of my life, where Black Country spirit meets Cheshire charm with a dash of photography magic!

Born and bred in the legendary Brierley Hill, I swapped the clang of steel mills for the Mersey’s gentle murmur when I landed in Runcorn. Photography has been my jam since I was knee-high to a grasshopper (yes, back in the days when dinosaurs roamed the earth and photos weren’t beamed by magic!). My first film developed at 11? That’s dedication, folks!

Fast forward to 2012, and I snagged my first event gig. A couple of years later, I took the plunge and went full-time pro. No wedding bells yet, though! I honed my skills on commercial shoots, event snaps, and the occasional family portrait (think: chaotic charm, endless smiles, and maybe a few tears – all part of the job!).

Finally, in 2014, I said “I do” to the world of weddings. Fancy training polished my skills, and in 2015, I unleashed my shutterbug fury on the unsuspecting public (don’t worry, it’s all love stories and happy tears!).

But when I’m not wrangling cameras and capturing your special moments, you’ll find me in one of these places:

Throwing punches (or teaching others to!) as a qualified England Boxing coach ( Runcorn ABC ).
Lacing up my boots for a good walk or a spot of glamping. Fresh air and nature, my friends!
Belting out “Come on you Baggies!” at the match. Yes, I’m a West Brom fan, and proudly so!

So there you have it! Photographer, boxing coach, walker, camper, football fanatic – I’m a quirky mix, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Buckle up, it’s going to be a wild ride filled with smiles, laughter, and maybe a few unexpected adventures!
